Dark Soy Sauce has a hint of sweetness and has a more subtle soybean flavour when compared with Light Soy Sauce, as its main purpose is for adding colour instead of taste to dishes. It has full-bodied colour and will delicately enhance the appearance of dishes such as meat stew and stir-fry noodles.
